sorry for the lack of updates :D
had been busy and still busy with work n projects.
&& i'm finally out of outpatient. wooo~
ya know y i've been wanting to get out of there?
coz it sucks in there. totally sucks. okay nt totally.
some ppl are nice but some ppl are just not.
lyk say 45% of the PTs are auntie2 n lyk 50% of them have pms undergoing menopause i think.
they kinda have moodswings. worst than mine i tell u. *winks at ayyub*
i got scolded last thurs by one of 'em. rabak punye.
ok, so here's the story.
it was 9am & i just entered my workplace, which was at the outpatient pharmacy.
you know the one where ppl get their medications before they go home? yes, that one.
& early inthe morning is usually super slack as there are not many baskets, and hence, not many medications to pack for patients.
& i was kinda unfortunate that my first basket for that day has got sample drugs, which, i'm not familiar with.
ok so for sample drugs, there will be a coupon attached to the prescription.
so for this particular coupon is actually Protos (brand name for strontium ranelate, fyi. lols).
this particular patient bought 5 boxes of Protos, and it was clearly indicated in the coupon that this patient will only get 1 free box of Protos. (As in buy 5 get 1 free)
& so, after packing n stuff, i push-up the basket & i was soooo unfortunate that the dispenser for my basket is one of the ngek ngok ones. -.-
this dispenser went in and threw the basket infront of me and said..
dispenser: you pack this one uhh? you pack wrong uhh i don want to dispense! later i kena.
me: * wth?? u dont want to dispense u just put aside lar. let other pharmacist dispense. for god's sake you r onli a PT. aaaand.. no nid to throw dat basket infront of me*
-ok of course i didnt say dat-
me: its correct waaad. the patient bought 5 box. so she will onli get 1 box free. and... u see the coupon. there's onli 1 'free' chop here. so onli 1 free box. its correct wad.
-yes i was confident coz i double-checked with the typist wokayyy. u think i anyhow pack uh? grrr. buuuttt... she wasnt satisfied wif me n complained to one of the senior PT. but before dat she told another PT infront of me-
dispenser: ehh next time dont let OUTSIDE PEOPLE to pack lar. see. dont noe how to do work. so confused.
-while she was calling the senior PT-
kakak typist: eh yg tadi u pack sape dispense?
me: _ _ _ _ _.
kakak typist: alamak...
me: but it's correct ryyt.. onli 1 free box....
kakak typist: yes correct. i confirmed with the patient alr.
-senior PT(SP) came-
dispenser: u see lar. dis girl dont noe how to pack. 6 free box she give me 1 onli.
SP: *checked the basket, coupon and prescription* it's correeect... 5 from our stock n 1 free sample. it's correct... there's nth wrong wif this basket.
-dispenser still wasnt satisfied n made noise. but the ppl who was there was on my side & finally the dispenser got it that it was her fault and NOT mine-
dispenser: aiyahhh. next time separate lyk dis lar. *took another basket n put the free sample n walk off*
me: huhhh? even if i put lyk dat just now it will be the same wad.. she will still come back n say its 6 free boxes. crap.
*then 1 of the PTs smiled at me*
i hate how my day started dat day BUT i love the ending of that incident.
i hate how she referred me as OUTSIDE PEOPLE.
yes. i noe i'm onli an attachment student there but i noe how to do my work ok.
